That vision is now stepping onto a plane to Japan.

We're so excited to introduce the four recipients of the 2026 Kliqtek Japan Scholarships: Angelina, Eliza, Erica, and Prisha, who will be joining the HEX International Japan Program this June for an unforgettable two-week entrepreneurship experience alongside 12 other aspiring founders.

‍Meet the 2026 Kliqtek Scholarship Recipients

Angelina, Eliza, Erica, and Prisha are four University of Melbourne students across the Bachelor of Commerce and Science (Computing), selected from a competitive pool of applicants to join HEX on this program.

Each of them brings something different to the table - different disciplines, different ways of seeing problems, and different ideas about what they want to build. But they share the same drive that makes a great founder: a genuine curiosity about the world, a desire to create something meaningful, and the courage to back themselves. They're exactly the kind of emerging innovators HEX and Kliqtek had in mind when this partnership began. 

Two Weeks in One of the World's Leading Innovation Ecosystems

In a world moving faster than ever, future founders need to be globally mobile earlier than ever. Not sitting in a lecture hall, but being out in the world, building real skills, and returning home with a sharper sense of who you are as a founder.

Japan isn't just a destination. It's one of the world's most fascinating intersections of deep cultural heritage and cutting-edge innovation, and that contrast makes it one of the best places in the world to learn how to build something new.

Over two weeks across Osaka and Tokyo, our founders will be fully immersed in a hands-on entrepreneurship program that takes them from problem ideation all the way through to pitching their prototype to real industry professionals.

The program includes workshops led by startup founders and industry experts, tours at major innovation hubs and universities, fireside chats with founders and business leaders, a hackathon, pitch training, authentic Japanese cultural experiences and so much more. At HEX, we design programs to be as enjoyable as they are formative, because the best learnings, connections, and memories are made when you're having fun!
