In the heart of Ho Chi Minh City’s business district, something special happened: HEX and Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam officially signed an MOU to unlock new opportunities for students, and celebrate a generation that’s ready to do things differently.

This wasn’t just about formalities. It was about impact.

Together with leaders from the Australian Government, AusCham Vietnam, FPT Education, and international industry reps, we honoured student achievements and launched a future-facing partnership rooted in innovation, entrepreneurship, and global connection.

Honouring Hustle, Opening Doors

The event began with the Student Achievement Awards Ceremony, recognising Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam students for their standout academic performance and extracurricular leadership during the Spring 2025 semester. These students aren’t just crushing exams, they’re building futures.

Next came the milestone moment: an official MOU signing between HEX and MPV, witnessed by over 70 guests from across the education, innovation, and business sectors.

The MOU: What It Actually Means

This partnership cements a shared vision: to provide transformational international experiences that help Vietnamese students thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy.

As AusCham Vietnam noted, the MOU supports a future where students can access:

HEX Co-Founder Jaclyn Benstead and Vietnam + SEA Lead Tuong Cat Tran joined MPV leadership onstage to formalise the partnership, and bring a fresh energy to what international education can look like.

Real Talk: “Collab or Collapse” Workshop

After the formalities, the HEX team ran a signature workshop:

“Collab or Collapse, Mastering the Art of Teamwork Survival.”

Through live activities and reflection, students explored:

• How to navigate conflict and feedback like a pro
  
  
• What it takes to be a trust-builder in a team
  
  
• Why emotional intelligence is as important as technical skill
  

Because future-of-work isn’t just about tools, it’s about how you show up.
