We’ve brought home the gold! 

HEX has officially been named the winner of the International Education & Training category at the 2025 Governor of Victoria’s Export Awards (GOVEA).

Hosted at Government House, the GOVEAs celebrate Victorian businesses that are making a global impact across industries. From craft gin to cutting-edge tech, the awards showcase the best of what Victoria has to offer the world. And this year, HEX stood proud as the education winner, proving that learning experiences can be one of our state’s most powerful exports.

The impact behind the recognition

The International Education & Training category recognises organisations that deliver outstanding global success in higher education, vocational training, transnational programs, online learning, curriculum development, and EdTech .

For HEX, this win is a milestone in our mission to deliver future-ready education worldwide. We’ve now supported more than 10,000 learners across 20+ countries, exporting programs to Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, India, the Philippines, the UK, and the US. Our portfolio spans high school accelerators, university-level international programs, and digital upskilling, all designed to help students think like founders and thrive in the future of work.

The people behind the prize

This recognition wouldn’t be possible without the incredible HEX team. Shoutouts to Jaclyn Benstead, who has led new market expansion with vision and grit; Shaye Pumar, who represented HEX on Victoria’s first trade mission to Thailand; Chris Hoffmann, for strengthening global partnerships and opening offshore opportunities; and Julia Tai, who crafted the award-winning submission that captured HEX’s story.

And beyond the core team, this award belongs to our wider community, alumni, partners, mentors, and ambassadors, who bring the HEX magic to life every single day.

The journey continues

The GOVEA win isn’t the finish line, it’s the launchpad. HEX now advances to the Australian Export Awards in Canberra this November, where we’ll showcase how Victorian education can scale globally and why building future-ready skills matters more than ever.

This recognition fuels us to keep building: new markets, new opportunities, and new ways for learners everywhere to experience what HEX is all about. Because for us, awards aren’t the end goal,  they’re fuel for what’s next.
