Scholarships at HEX: What’s Funded Right Now [January 2026]

HEX programs are built for students who want real-world experience, from working with startups to exploring global innovation hubs. If cost is part of your decision-making (totally fair), there’s good news.

For 2026, HEX offers access to scholarships, grants, and funding pathways across multiple programs. Some are partial, some cover most of the cost, all are designed to make global learning more accessible.

Below, everything is organised by HEX program, so you can quickly find what applies to you.

🇯🇵 HEX International: Osaka

Program Dates: Saturday 27 June - Saturday 11 July, 2026

✅ Funding Available:

1. Cardiff University GO Grant

  • Free program participation

  • Up to £500 GBP towards flights

  • For Cardiff University undergraduate students

  • First-time global participants only

  • Osaka program is approved

2. RMIT University – Global Mobility Grant

  • $500–$1,000 AUD

  • For RMIT University students

  • University-specific funding

🇹🇭 HEX International: Bangkok

Program Dates: Saturday 28 November - Saturday 12 December, 2026

🇻🇳 HEX International: Ho Chi Minh City

Program Dates: Saturday 4 July - Saturday 18 July, 2026

🇸🇬 HEX International: Singapore

Program Dates: Saturday 17 January - Saturday 31 January, 2026

HEX Venture Scholarship

In addition to university-led grants, HEX also offers HEX Venture Scholarships, a funded scholarship initiative designed to support high-potential students within the HEX community.

HEX Venture Scholarships are awarded through selected HEX programs, challenges, and partner initiatives. In some programs, top participants or winners may also help nominate or select scholarship recipients.

Most HEX Venture Scholarships are region-based, supporting students to progress into future HEX programs in other locations. Funding may be partial or full, depending on the program and availability.

HEX Upskill Programs (Online & Short Courses)

Program Dates: Rolling intakes in 2026

✅ Funding Available:

1. Kliqtek – Women in Tech (Upskill Edition)

  • Full scholarship (valued at $199 AUD)

  • For Australian citizens

  • Undergraduate students

  • Female or non-binary

  • Melbourne-based

  • Limited spots available

OS-HELP Loan (Australia Only)

✅ Funding Available:

  • Up to $9,000 AUD

  • For Australian undergraduate students

  • Must be enrolled in a CSP (HECS-supported) degree

  • Loan is added to your HECS balance

  • Academic credit approval required

Not Sure What You’re Eligible For?

Most scholarships and grants are accessed through your university’s global mobility or study abroad office, while some are coordinated directly by HEX.
