Over the past few months, the HEX Vietnam team has continued strengthening one of HEX’s core advantages: meaningful industry connection across Australia, Vietnam and globally.
HEX does not design programs in isolation. We work alongside founders, operators, educators and corporate leaders who are actively shaping the future of work.
A recent example of this was our executive engagement with HP’s Future Ready Leaders program, delivered in partnership with Virtual Internships.
This is what strong industry collaboration looks like in practice.

HP’s leadership visit to Vietnam
HP’s Future Ready Leaders program is an 18 month executive development journey designed to prepare the next generation of diverse, high performing executives .
The program supports three objectives:
- Individual development at the C suite level
- Team effectiveness across enterprise leadership
Strategic connection between leaders and wider stakeholders
As part of their journey, a cohort of senior HP executives visited Vietnam to explore one guiding question:
What is the culture we need to support the future of work, and how must leadership evolve to accelerate strategy?
The session was facilitated by senior leaders from Virtual Internships:
- Jason Kan, Chief Operating Officer
- Katina Dell’Acqua-Lubich, Chief Financial Officer
- Tien Truong (Jane), Placement Success Advisor
Together with HEX Vietnam, the discussion focused on themes HP outlined in advance, including:
- Shaping the future of work through emerging technologies
- Building supportive and connected communities
- Developing talent who can collaborate across cultures and self manage in distributed environments
This engagement reflects HEX’s role as a trusted contributor to executive level conversations about leadership and the future of work.
Strong industry connections across Australia, Vietnam and globally
The session was framed around the theme of innovation, leadership and the future of work .
Virtual Internships shared insights from operating a global internship model that includes:
- 18,000 plus host companies
- Internship opportunities in over 80 countries
- 300,000 plus live opportunities
They also shared measurable program outcomes:
- 96 percent of interns gained value from the experience
- 93 percent completed the full program
- 1 in 3 interns were offered further opportunities
HEX contributed perspectives from delivering entrepreneurship and leadership experiences across the Asia Pacific region, supporting workplace readiness and facilitating cross cultural collaboration .
Because HEX operates across Australia and Vietnam, we are able to bridge global corporate conversations with local business communities.
Powered by the HEX Vietnam team
This engagement was driven by the HEX Vietnam team:
- Tuong Cat Tran, Country Director Vietnam & Cambodia and Regional Lead Southeast Asia
- Ha Nguyen, Education & Growth Lead
- Jacqueline Huynh, Operations & Admin Lead
From executive coordination to relationship management, their leadership ensured the session was strategically aligned and professionally delivered.
Their work reflects HEX’s continued commitment to strengthening industry partnerships in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia.
Beyond the boardroom
The engagement extended beyond the executive session.
That same evening, HEX and Virtual Internships co hosted the Innovation Networking Night in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together business executives, founders, industry professionals, educators and students to explore Vietnam’s growing business landscape .
The event created space for direct exchange between global corporate leaders and Vietnam’s entrepreneurial community.
Because at HEX, strong industry connection is built through conversation, collaboration and shared learning.

What this demonstrates
This engagement highlights three clear strengths:
- HEX’s strong industry connections across Australia, Vietnam and globally
- HEX as a trusted thought partner to major global corporations such as HP
- HEX’s role in bridging cultures and generations while preparing young people for the future
This executive session builds on HEX’s broader work in Vietnam, including supporting hands on, industry integrated learning initiatives such as the TEISA launch at VNU HCM.
